Counsellor-in-Training
Jayne is a counsellor-in-training, currently completing her Masters in Counselling at Monash University, Australia. She is committed to creating a safe and supportive space for clients, tailoring her approach to meet their individual needs using a range of evidence-based modalities. She has a particular interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and its ability to help individuals build psychological flexibility and live in alignment with their values.
Before moving into counselling, Jayne worked as a lawyer for many years and understands the pressures of high-demand corporate environments. Having lived as an expat in Singapore for nearly two decades, she appreciates the challenges of life transitions, particularly when far from home and familiar support systems. These experiences have shaped her empathetic and understanding approach, allowing her to provide meaningful support to those navigating change.
Jayne takes a holistic approach to mental health, recognising the deep connection between mind and body. She is passionate about fitness and how it supports emotional well-being. She also deeply values understanding the impact of hormones on mental health, from menarche to menopause and everything in between. As a mother of three, she understands the many transitions individuals go through across different life stages. She is passionate about providing a safe space where clients feel heard, empowered, and supported in developing the tools they need to navigate their personal journeys with confidence and resilience. She is here to work with you to help you feel empowered to flourish and live a meaningful and fulfilled life.
