Cheryl Kennedy MacDonald
Trainee Counsellor Working with Women
I’m Cheryl Kennedy MacDonald, a Trainee Counsellor committed to guiding women through the ebbs and flows of life’s inevitable transitions. My approach integrates counselling, mindfulness, and women’s health expertise to offer a unique blend of therapeutic avenues for transformation. From navigating the complexities of menopause to providing emotional support in pregnancy and postpartum stages, I equip women to harness their innate power and embrace life’s challenges.
Background and Experience
Having dedicated over two decades to the empowerment of women, I am the Founder of YogaBellies, a global women’s yoga collective, as well as the Creator of the Birth Rocks Method. This innovative approach offers practical and natural solutions for achieving comfort during childbirth, and I’ve worked with parents and trained birth mentors across the world. I have extensive experience in mentoring and coaching women through various life stages, employing feminine yoga therapy to not only alleviate physical symptoms but also nurture emotional and spiritual well-being. My aim is always to provide personalised support that harmonises with each individual’s needs, all delivered in a down-to-earth and compassionate manner.
Originally hailing from Glasgow, Scotland, I’ve been living in Singapore for nearly a decade, alongside my husband, a Consultant Cardiologist, and our teenage son. Outside the professional sphere, I love yoga, sunshine, and laughter, which I firmly is the best medicine.
