Background And Experience

Misha is a Dutch-trained and registered clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist with over a decade in the field, spanning psychiatric care, neuropsychology, and private practice settings in the Netherlands and the US.

As a generalist psychologist, she has treated clients presenting with a wide spectrum of everyday mental health difficulties including mood disorder, anxiety, social anxiety, low self-esteem, emotion regulation, and addiction. She has extensive experience conducting neuropsychological and overall cognitive assessments.

Misha has worked with diverse populations including patients with Korsakoff Syndrome, autism spectrum, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, traumatic brain injury, and psychosis. She has also provided individual and group psychological treatment to psychiatric patients in an inpatient care setting, alongside mediative therapy and systemic coaching for care teams.

She completed her Dutch psychology registration at the RINO Group and holds a Master’s in Healthcare Psychology, with a specialisation in neuropsychology from the University of Amsterdam. Misha is also a PhD candidate at Utrecht University, researching apathy in neuropsychiatry across various neuropsychiatric populations.

Approach

Misha’s clinical style blends Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), adapting a mix to what each client needs most. Central to her way of working is a strong focus on building the therapeutic relationship itself – she sees trust and connection as the groundwork that makes lasting change possible.

Her neuropsychology training gives her treatment an added diagnostic depth, helping clients make sense of how their thinking, emotions, and behaviour connect. She’s also trained in mediative therapy and systemic coaching which lets her work not just with individuals but with teams and family systems around them.

More About Misha

Misha is originally from the Netherlands, spent four years living in the US, and made the move to Singapore in August 2025 – giving her firsthand experience navigating different cultures and ways of life. Cooking is a genuine passion, mostly because eating is one of her favourite activities.

Outside of work she’s usually enjoying quality time with her family, planning the next trip, and getting out for a hike. She puts real value on time spent laughing with good friends, convinced that a solid sense of humour is underrated as a coping skill.
