Background And Experience

Ai Jia is a Clinical Psychologist who works with children, adolescents, adults, and couples across a broad range of emotional and relational concerns. Her areas of experience include mood and anxiety difficulties, trauma, grief, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), self-harm, and suicidality. She is deeply interested in attachment-based work and is a registered Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) facilitator.

Ai Jia believes that healing and growth happen in the context of safe and trusting relationships. In her work with couples, she draws on her training in the Gottman Method of Couple Therapy and her attachment-oriented lens to help partners rebuild connection, improve communication, and find new ways of understanding and supporting each other. Her couples work began in FAM@FSC, where she supported partners navigating a wide range of relationship challenges.

She is also trained in a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). Ai Jia brings a thoughtful, compassionate, and collaborative approach to therapy, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs and stories of the individuals and couples she works with.
