Lydia is currently completing her Master’s in Counselling at Monash University, driven by a deep passion for supporting individuals through major life transitions. Lydia’s work is grounded in Grief and Trauma, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Lydia offers therapy that adapts to each person’s unique experiences, providing compassionate guidance to help clients navigate the complexities of relationships, such as infidelity, communication breakdowns, and other significant life changes. She provides therapy in English and Mandarin. 

Personal

Born and lived in Singapore, Lydia is a hands-on mother to children with mixed heritage, giving her personal insight into the joys and challenges of interracial relationships. Her multicultural background and life experiences enrich her counselling approach, allowing her to connect meaningfully with clients from diverse backgrounds. Fluent in English, Chinese, and Cantonese, Lydia enjoys travelling, meeting new people, and immersing herself in diverse cultural experiences, which further enhance her ability to support clients during challenging times.

Lydia is a counsellor-in-training under the supervision of Ariel Ko at Us Therapy.
