Carolyn is a counsellor-in-training, currently completing her Masters in Guidance and Counselling at James Cook University. She is a seasoned leader in human resources, learning & development, with an extensive background and over 20 years in global HR management, talent management, and employee wellbeing initiatives. Her career spans multiple sectors — including hospitality, family entertainment, and retail — across Asia Pacific and Global landscapes.
Recognized as an all-rounded people person, Carolyn has held senior roles where she has driven strategic HR projects, spearheaded leadership development, and championed wellness programs for large organizations. She leads with empathy, firmly believing that organizations thrive when their people are well cared for, resulting in mutual growth and success.
Carolyn aligns closely with the principles of Person-Centered Therapy, which emphasizes on creating a supportive and non-judgemental environment where clients can explore their feelings and thoughts freely.
Carolyn is a mother of 2 grown up boys, who understands the struggles of juggling both a thriving career, as well as maintaining a well-balanced home and life as an individual. In her free time, she enjoys travelling and exploring other cultures and destinations.
